Really good Experience
huge bed excellent shower free parking
The bed was very large. The shower was excellent and toiletries were great. Location is two minutes from the city center. Free parking behind the premises was so convenient.
The room could use better soundproofing from street noise.

Staff showed great sympathy. Staff promptly delivered luggage to the room on the first floor because there is no elevator. This thoughtful gesture was welcome and made arrival easier.

Breakfast had many options that tasted very good. Staff worked hard to maintain good dining. I found the available live music added a nice atmosphere.

The parking felt secure (a great comfort). I would happily book a garden suite again for my next visit. The location allowed easy walks to attractions like the castle.

The staff provided excellent recommendations for local spots around town. Arriving very early on a bank holiday, I got breakfast sorted at Tower and Castle thanks to their advice. What a cheerful start!

The room was large and breezy, perfect for the warmer summer weather (I appreciated that a lot!). The bed was especially comfortable, and I enjoyed a really restful stay in my beautiful room.

helpful staff fresh towels varied breakfast central location
i found the staff very helpful and always smiling. the room included nice toiletries and plenty of fresh towels. breakfast offered a good variety of options, especially the freshly baked pastries. the hotel's central location meant nearby attractions were easily walkable.
the room decor felt a bit dated.

beautiful suite fresh breakfast
i had a beautiful suite for one night. the room was excellent. the breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked to order.
i went here after 8 pm for food and it was awful. they brought scallops in a thick sauce after i had ordered mussels. the chicken pasta was unseasoned, and the chicken in the chicken burger was dry.
